Apple PowerBook 145B
====================
Copyright 1993, Apple Computer, Inc.
The Apple PowerBook 145B is the most affordable PowerBook computer. It combines
the power of a 68030 microprocessor with the convenience of an all-in-one
package, making it a superior choice for high-performance, low-cost notebook
computing.
The PowerBook 145B gives you a remarkably comfortable way to work, thanks to
its innovative design. An integrated trackball and palm rest make it easy for
you to work with the computer on your lap, and you can quickly adjust the
standard-size keyboard and full-page-width display. With a bright, clear
10-inch (254-millimeter) display, the PowerBook 145B is easy on the eyes. With
a resolution of 640 by 400 pixels, text and images are sharp.
The PowerBook 145B offers the Apple SuperDrive, a 1.4-megabyte floppy disk
drive that works with Macintosh, OS/2, and ProDOS formats. With the PowerBook
145B, you’ll find all the connections you need to work anywhere—on the road, in
a conference room, or at your desk. AppleTalk networking is built in, so you
can connect to all the resources in an AppleTalk network. With an optional
modem and AppleTalk Remote Access software, you can send electronic mail,
access information from other computers, connect to an AppleTalk network, and
send documents to facsimile machines anywhere. Six built-in ports let you
connect your PowerBook 145B directly to printers, input devices, and CD-ROMs.
